CDM Dataportal¶

The dataportal will publish CDM data hosted in a CommunityStore on the web.

It will be build as a Drupal module and initially not allow to manipulate the CommunityStore data.

In future versions simple forms will be created that allow contributors to add new images or unstructured facts like human language descriptions or economic use text blocks.

This page gives an overview on the functionality of the dataportal, for detailed information on the implementation please refer to the CdmDataportalImplementationNotes.

The mailing list for issues related to the dataportal is edit-portal-editor@googlegroups.com.

Prototyping¶

The PortalRequirements are gathered by the WP6 exemplar groups, mainly by creating 3 different mockup/prototype sites:

The dataportal runs on XML REST services provided by the CommunityStore. See CdmApi for the currently implemented services.
