the new docker image is now based on ubuntu:bionic since jemalloc in alpine Linux fails with segfault.
Therefore I used openjdk8 instead of oracle java

Running one cdm-webapp instance with jemalloc reduces RSS from 1.7GB to 1.2GB.

Before closing this ticket do ....

  • confirm that the docker image is build in the jenkins pipeline
  • test the docker image on the test server and verify the RSS reduction
