| Synonym | The class for synonyms: these are taxa the taxon names
of which are not used by the reference to designate a real
taxon but are mentioned as taxon names that were oder are used by some other
unspecified references to designate (at least to some extent) the same
particular real taxon. |
| SynonymRelationship | The class representing the assignation of a synonym to an
("accepted/correct") taxon. |
| SynonymRelationshipType | The class representing categories of synonym relationships
(like "heterotypic synonym of"). |
| Taxon | The class for "accepted/correct" taxa (only these taxa according to
the opinion of the reference can build a taxonomic tree). |
| TaxonBase | The upmost (abstract) class for the use of a taxon name in a reference
or within a taxonomic view/treatment either as a taxon
("accepted" respectively "correct" name) or as a (junior) synonym. |
| TaxonComparator | This class makes available a method to compare two taxa by
comparing the publication dates of the corresponding taxon names. |
| TaxonRelationship | The class representing a relationship between two ("accepted/correct") taxa. |
| TaxonRelationshipType | The class representing categories of taxon relationships
(like "is congruent to" or "is misapplied name for"). |
