# EDIT Platform for Cybertaxonomy development wiki and issue tracker

**NOTE:** This is the new Redmine instance which replaces the formerly used Trac system. All content from the EDIT Trac installation has been migrated to here. Important to know for those editing wiki pages or tickets is that this Redmine instance is using [Markdown](https://redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/RedmineTextFormattingMarkdown), [Redmine Markdown-Cheatsheet](https://sourceforge.net/p/redmineclient/wiki/markdown_syntax/#md_ex_tables) as wiki syntax. (Another reference is the [GitHub Markdown-Cheatsheet](https://github.com/adam-p/markdown-here/wiki/Markdown-Cheatsheet) this syntax is not fully supported by redmine).
