Performing a Release¶

This sections describes the steps required to setup and deploy a release of the Taxonomic Editor.

Prepare Release¶

Jenkins job : taxeditor-PREP-RELEASE

Actions performed : updates trunk to the release version and creates a release tag in the repository.

Deploy Release¶

Execute job taxeditor-DEPLOY":http://160.45.63.201/jenkins/view/EDIT%20Taxonomic%20Editor/job/taxeditor-DEPLOY/ to package the Editor, install it in the public downloads "taxeditor":http://wp5.e-taxonomy.eu/download/taxeditor/ directory under a sub-directory named after the release version and redirect the "stable directory to point to this newly installed version.
