Redmine bug #6430 (Closed): proxy_content not returning datahttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/64302017-02-22T14:55:46ZSaskia Gennrichbug #6397 (Closed): palmweb: various feature blocks missinghttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/63972017-01-30T09:46:05ZAndreas Kohlbecker

In the palmweb portal various feature blocks are missing.

At the example of Calamus aruensis:

This taxon has data for the 10 feature types, but only a few are currently shown (in bold) in the portal:

Distribution

Image

Common Name

Conservation

Discussion

Biology And Ecology

Description

Materials Examined

Uses

Distribution

The web service returns the data correctly:

feature request #6301 (Closed): Display of sources for imageshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/63012016-12-23T10:45:41ZAndreas Müller

Currently sources are not displayed for images in the dataportal. This is probably needed for Salvador and generally critical as sources should always be cited at least if they are of type PrimaryMediaSource.

bug #6296 (Closed): Simple search for common names returns duplicateshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62962016-12-22T13:05:18ZAndreas Kohlbecker

This is a bug the cdmlib-services

For example:

http -b http://api.cybertaxonomy.org/salvador/portal/taxon/find.json\?doTaxaByCommonNames\=1\&doMisappliedNames\=0\&doSynonyms\=0\&doTaxa\=0\&pageNumber\=0\&pageSize\=25\&query\=amate\&tree\=b010c84d-6049-45f4-9f13-c065101eaa26 | jq '.records[].titleCache'

NOTE: The
http
command is from httpie

Broken queries:

feature request #6292 (Closed): IAPT-Data Registration datehttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62922016-12-20T17:23:24ZWolf-Henning Kusber

In IAPT there are normally dates such as dd.mm.yy (dd.mm.yyyy is only used by Office Eghan=Index Fungorum, not relevant for PhycoBank)

Years in IAPT-database for algae are ".98" and ".99" only.

Change .98 to .1998

Change .99 to .1999

Result will be a full date in German format.
(Wishlist: ISO standard as yyyy-mm-dd -> new ticket)

This needs to be done in the phycobank drupal module

bug #6291 (Closed): allow hiding the classification information from the search resultshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62912016-12-20T16:37:32ZAndreas Kohlbecker

allow hiding the classification information from the search results when the search is not limited to one classification

bug #6290 (Closed): style Phycobank registration data in tabular stylehttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62902016-12-20T16:35:36ZAndreas Kohlbecker

Either style the definition list like it is described in see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1713048/how-to-style-dt-and-dd-so-they-are-on-the-same-line?noredirect=1&lq=1#answer-21261303 or use a table instead

feature request #6288 (Closed): harmonize CommonName feature block elementshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62882016-12-20T10:00:03ZAndreas Kohlbecker

The area label should be in its own
span
dom element with class attribute
area-label

<del>The area label and language label are properties of the description element and thus should go inside of the
DescriptionElement-CommonTaxonName

span
element.</del> --> rejected! This makes no sense since the common names are grouped by name, so the lables must be separate.

Once implemented apply the following css to the salvador portal:

#block-cdm-dataportal-feature-common-name .language-area-label {
display:none;
}

... and consider setting the areas again in the salvador DB.

bug #6283 (Closed): Exceptions when editing polytomous keyhttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62832016-12-15T10:09:32ZKatja Luther

Hallo Katja,

Ralf

feature request #6278 (Closed): add sec reference as class attribute to all taxon markuphttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62782016-12-13T15:23:09ZAndreas Kohlbecker

This is needed to be able to style the taxa related to a specific scref differently. The taxa with the 'phycobank' secRef should be styled with grey font color.

feature request #6275 (Closed): Phycobank - DataPortal: display registration data stored in name ...https://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62752016-12-13T12:58:25ZAndreas Kohlbecker

show below Name and footnote as string as in IAPT

bug #6260 (Closed): media page: rights stored in the cdm are not displayedhttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62602016-12-08T13:52:31ZAndreas Kohlbeckerbug #6259 (Closed): Media page problems with multiple media representationshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/62592016-12-08T13:51:46ZAndreas Kohlbecker

Example: http://portal.cybertaxonomy.org/salvador/cdm_dataportal/media/9a650031-04cc-48dc-a68b-8d67350423d6/8bd66e44-5eea-46e6-8e6b-d1e535bc5b1a/0

Problems:

representations have all the same URL

details of part (dimensions) must move into representation

The thumbnail is preferred over the full resolution image

rights stored in the cdm are not displayed

feature request #4490 (Closed): Make the label of the taxon page tabs customizable for portal adminshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/44902014-11-20T11:05:17ZPatrick Plitzner

For the specimen tab:

"I think that "Specimens" might be a good default and only if you also handle observations you may change the label if you want.(a.mueller, see comment 2)"

once this is implemented and release the following adaptions are to be applied:

Campanula: Specimens --> Specimens & Observations

Rubiaceae de Mexico: Synonymie --> Nomenclature

bug #4223 (Closed): Advanced search returns unexpected resultshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/42232014-05-19T16:09:54ZAndreas Müller

Advanced search on Tab 'Advanced' for a taxon name returns all names relevant for a part of the search. E.g. search "Lactuca triquetra" returns returns all Lactuca taxa, not only Lactuca triquetra (and non existing children). As this field is called name search but not free/full text search this for me is unexpected behaviour.

Example taken from cichorieae database.

see also #4220

another example from the corvidae portal:

searching for "Garrulus americanus" across all classifications. I did expect one or two hits, but 58 are shown.
