Redmine task #10450 (New): Handle zip-files consistent in list exportshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/104502024-01-12T16:27:18ZAndreas Müller

The handling of zip-files differs in the list exports (cdm-light, coldp, wfo-classification and dwc-a export).

For coldp (and maybe the coming wfo-classification) export it allows selecting a folder and defines a default file name for the zip-file while only at the second page of the assistant one can choose to create a zip-file or not. This should be at the same page. Also when selecting "Create zip-file" it should show the "Select folder for exported files" option while when unselecting "create zip-file" it should show the file selection dialogue which then possibly opens the a browser and allows to choose a filename using OS functionality for this.

We should keep the default for zip-creation as "don't" for cdmlight but "do" for the others as dwc-a and coldp by default are handled as zip-files.

For the ordinary dwc-a export we need to check if it is easy to implement to also allow creation of an unzipped version.

feature request #10449 (Closed): Allow filtering out synonyms in list exportshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/104492024-01-12T16:09:27ZAndreas Müller

Currently this should be implemented for cdm-light, coldp, wfo-classification and dwc-a export

feature request #10448 (Closed): Implement WFO Backbone export in TaxEditorhttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/104482024-01-10T10:05:18ZAndreas Müller

see #10446 for details

feature request #10273 (In Progress): WFO content export (DwC-A)https://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/102732023-03-15T10:00:37ZAndreas Müller

DwC-A export for WFO (World Flora Online). This includes the specific WFO DwCA format. It also inlcudes an area mapping to TDWG areas if distribution is included.

The export may only include content. Tax. Backbone export may be implemented via CoL-DP (or a DwC-A backbone export) (see #10271).

Attached is the E+M->TDWG mapping. We need to discuss how this can be included in the export and how to map areas that map to >1 TDWG area.

bug #9980 (New): Implement a checkbox to distinguish between export the whole subtree or only the...https://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/99802022-03-16T13:24:19ZKatja Luther

from #6800
the subtree filter should be available now, please review. To filter on taxa, you have to click on taxonnodes without children.
if it should also be possible to export only the parents of a subtree, we need to add a checkbox in the wizard that only the selected taxonnodes without their children should be exported.

The checkbox has to be implemented.

feature request #8929 (New): Add "open folder" button to file/folder based exportshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/89292020-04-02T21:43:19ZAndreas Müller

e.g. for DwC-A export and CDMLight but maybe also for other exports.

The button should appear on the result dialogue.

feature request #8891 (Closed): Add categorical and quantiative data to DwC-Ahttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/88912020-03-13T11:32:21ZAndreas Müller

task #7211 (New): Strategy for DwC-A Export of referenceshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/72112018-01-23T10:15:55ZAndreas Müller

References are an extension which links to core (taxa).
However, references may link to multiple taxa (or even other data). We need to decide if we want a record per such relationship or if each reference should occur only once. Currently each reference is exported only once so the relationship to other taxa gets lost. At the same time in core we do have some reference information already so the reference extension is maybe not needed at all. The reference extension does, like all extensions, not have an own identifier (except for the identifier field(s) meant for ISBN, DOI, etc. But the later could be used for CDM uuid also.

Maybe this should all be configurable. But we should also check how IPT is doing it by default.

Note: There are 2 reference extensions, the standard one and the EOL one. Currently only the first is implemented.

bug #7175 (Closed): DwC-A export optionally filters by published flaghttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/71752018-01-15T07:23:08ZAndreas Kohlbecker

ws werden im Moment alle Taxa exportiert, egal ob das publish flag gesetzt ist oder nicht.

Ich denke, wir sollten das konfigurierbar machen.

bug #7168 (New): dwcaTaxExport request with clearCache=true does not return an archivehttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/71682018-01-11T15:14:07ZAndreas Kohlbecker

the below request starts producing an archive but once the process is complete the next call at this URI seems to delete the archive instead of delivering it. The cache should only be cleared after the clean up timeout of the progress monitor has been reached. To me it seems as if there no point having this
clearCache
parameter.

bug #7167 (New): dwca-export-controller documentation issueshttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/71672018-01-11T15:00:21ZAndreas Kohlbecker

the contoller method exportGetExplanation() which is mapped to
/dwca
returns an html page which will in future contain the documentation of the webservice. The documentation however is in general produced through swagger. Therefore this method seems to be a concurrent approach to produce webservice documentation. I advocate for removing this method and to add proper swagger annotations where needed.

swagger annotations are at least need for all request parameters of the type
UuidList
. All these appear as
List<String>
in swagger, so the user does not know what to pass to the web service.

Passing an invalid uuid as
classification
causes a Error 400 Bad Request with no further information on the cause, better error reporting is neede here

bug #6988 (New): dwca export webservice missing in swagger documentationhttps://dev.e-taxonomy.eu/redmine/issues/69882017-09-26T13:42:43ZAndreas Kohlbecker

the
/dwca
endpoint is missing in the swagger documentation.

Add this endpoint to the swagger group "Data export" if possible. Otherwise either change the pas path to
export/dwca
and put the csv services under the same prefix or create two distinct swagger groups which would be lees nice.
