By the way, is there a reason why we show the file name below image? Sometimes it is very ugly like in the above mentioned case http://campanula.e-taxonomy.net/cdm_dataportal/media/ac44e4b5-4820-46bc-820e-9e414c6b52e7 (it is even not created correctly!!)
I think if no title exists the file should not be shown below the image as pseudotitle, but we may show the full URL and have a label "URL" in front as for "source".
Connected with the representation is the question which filename to use different representations have different filenames, see #6818
