The area tree can be chosen and the distribution info returns only values for the selected areas.

I think #9500 does not block this, because it handles the status terms not the used areas.
Currently the fallback areas are still marked in the area itself, not in the area tree as suggested in #9502. I think this can be handled in #9502 and does not block this ticket.
