Maybe we also need a configurator here for the removal of specimens(descriptions) from the matrix. Same issue as at #8754#note-20 (and other notes in #8754).
A configurator is needed if the Specimen(orTaxon)Description should be completely deleted from the object it belongs too or if it should be only removed from the matrix/DDS.

When I tried to delete a description from matrix without deleting from specimen I got the following exception:

Did you try this with different descriptions?
I never got this exception, maybe you removed the descriptionElementSource before?

I could not reproduce this so maybe it was data related.

However, it was somehow difficult to test this ticket as the behavior was not always reproducable. One time selecting that the description should be fully deleted was not successful (I tested in specimen tree editor, it was still there), next time it was successful. Sometimes the dirty flag was not set, sometimes it was set.

I have to wait now until TaxEditor is build again with an NPE fixed to further test.
