Description

WGB:

An alternative could be to deduplicate the B's for Berlin Specimen. The 2 B's are a specific problem that does not occur often for other herbaria, at least not with a space after the second occurrence. For readability the B's could be deduplicated. (this approach is probably also discussed in some other ticket)

I agree with Walter, adding a ":" after the herbarium code would be the easiest.

NK:

Great, ":" as separator seems to me the best solution for this common problem with the barcode citation of very many herbaria, not only B! The spaces in the B barcode are a speciality but are anyway mostly ignored by users in citations (including me, purposely) and are not necessary for retrieval (and are also not used in the stable indentifier!)

NoK:

Also z.B.
Timaviella dunensis Mikhailyuk & O.Vinogr. – Type: Germany, The coast of the Baltic Sea, Usedom Island, vicinity of Zempin, 54°4'17"N, 13°58'4"E, 8 Oct 2013. (holotype: KW KW-A-32531)
