We have implemented warnings for references and maybe some others if they are used multiple times (and therefore editing is dangerous as it may destroy data at other places).

As we started this task people get used to it and expect to be warned in such cases. So if no warning is given they think no multiple usage exists. Therefore we should try to implement it where ever needed as fast as possible.
