Description

reported in 'RE: A few problems with EDIT Platform 3.3.3' by Lauren Gardiner (28.04.2014 15:19) :

'Number of taxa' and 'Bibliography' were new features that Alex added because we wanted some kind of count for infra-taxa (eg. number of subspecies in a species, number of species in a genus) and a way of collating the references on a page in a single place since the Bibliography never worked quite right for us in Palmweb, so no, they don't appear in the Content list.

I think the '1 infraspecific taxa' is a slightly unsatisfactory left over of this feature never quite working either - if a species has two infraspecific taxa eg. two subspecies, they will show in the classification tree, but if a species has no subsp/varieties, it will display as '1 infraspecific taxa' (sic - it should say taxon if it is singular). Ideally it wouldn't show anything if there are no other infraspecific taxa.

Many thanks and all the best,

Lauren
