Description

The rank should be considered when parsing hybrid names like "Berberis aggregata aggregata × Berberis wilsoniae aggregata". It is always parsed as "Berberis aggregata subsp. aggregata × Berberis wilsoniae subsp. aggregata"

This works for non-hybrids: "Berberis aggregata aggregata" with rank Variety is parsed as "Berberis aggregata var. aggregata"

non-hybrids: "Berberis aggregata aggregata" with rank Variety is parsed as "Berberis aggregata var. aggregata"

As far as I can see this is not true and therefore it also does not make sense for hybrids. The missing infraspecific epithet is a shortcut for subspecies that is especially used a lot in zoology.

I suggest closing the ticket as Rejected.

I added some lines in the test that show that the rank parameter is not considered for not hybrids. Please delete them before closing the ticket.
