Description

Currently the citations of sensu references are ordered alphabetically, but should be chronologically. Also the numbering of the footnotes should be in the appearing order of the citation, currently it is in the order of processing.

For example for Sphaerocarpos texanus https://europlusmed.org/cdm_dataportal/taxon/c0bb1e1f-725e-407a-ba45-e7d33773a0af
or https://test.e-taxonomy.eu/dataportal/preview/euromed/cdm_dataportal/taxon/c0bb1e1f-725e-407a-ba45-e7d33773a0af/synonymy the order of footnotes and citations are not confusing.

With the current implementation of the DTO it is not easy to implement because we only have the titleCache of the reference, we would need another attribute publication date or year.

Source DTO now has a sortableDate field.

Can you take over and implement the comparator?

Is the test data adaptation completed?

The combined handling of annotations and source footnotes is still an issues also on the given test page

I think this issue will be handled in a follow-up ticket of some other ticket. Can please link to this ticket here, too (and vice versa)? The ticket should include a note that both is incorrect, the ordering and the missing comma.

After the ticket is linked to the follow-up we can close it.
