In first tests I could not reproduce the problems with my actual workspace version, also with the actual nightly build I tried:

• change the sec. reference of an existing homotypic synonym and save
• change the status to basionym and save
• open another taxon and change the sec. reference and save
• go back to the first taxon and check the sec reference of the basionym -> ok
• go back to the second taxon -> ok
• close the editor and check all changed secundum references -> ok

As described above actually I could not reproduce this anymore. Tried again with several synonym/taxon combinations. With saving and without saving between changing secundum reference and setting as basionym.
