The Show View Menu

The five panels of the Taxonomic Editor can be closed independently by clicking on the (x) icon on the right-hand side of the tab of each panel. For example:

Panels can be reopened by clicking the panel name under the Show View menu.

1. Click the Windows menu in the Toolbar. A drop-down box will appear.
2. Move the mouse to the Show View option in the drop-down box.

   

   Toolbar > Window > Show View

3. Click the panel option that you wish to open.

   The panel will re-open in the Taxonomic Editor window.

The Taxon Name panel is automatically re-activated after double-clicking on a taxon record in the Taxonomic Tree panel.

Tip! If, when you select a panel in the Show View menu you still cannot see it in the Taxonomic Editor window, it may have been minimised. Check at the bottom right of the window for minimised panels:
