1 <h3>Windows XP and older Systems

4 <li>Click on the
<strong>Windows Start
</strong> button at the bottom left of your computer screen (on newer systems you may only have an untitled Windows icon).

5 <li>Select the
<strong>Search
</strong> button; a new pop-up box will appear.
</li>
6 <li>Select
<strong>Search All Files and Folders
</strong>; a new pop-up box will appear.
</li>
7 <li>Select the locations on your computer that you would like to search.
</li>
8 <li>In the search bar at the left hand side of the box enter
<code>.cdmLibrary
</code>.
</li>
9 <li>Click the
<strong>Run Search
</strong> button.

10 The search will be carried out and the results will be shown in the main panel of the pop-up box. The search will return a list of matching results. There should only be one folder called “cdm.Library”.

11 <li>Within the panel of the search box, click the cdm.Library folder once.
</li>
12 <li>Press
<strong>Delete
</strong> on the keyboard.
<br />A pop-up box will appear asking “do you really want to delete this folder”.
</li>
13 <li>Press
<strong>Enter
</strong> on the keyboard to confirm.
<br />The
<code>.cdmLibrary
</code> folder will be deleted.

<code>.cdmLibrary

22 <p>You can now delete the shortcut from your desktop: click on the shortcut, press the delete button on the keyboard; a pop-up will ask you to confirm the deletion; click the OK button.
