   4 A synonym name is parsed in exactly the same way as a root or child taxon. However, in the <strong>Details </strong> panel you will see that<strong>Synonym Name</strong> is seen at the top, rather than Accepted Name. The details of a synonym name can be expanded and edited in the                <strong>Details</strong> panel in the same was as a child taxon (see <strong>Editing your Taxa</strong> on page 66).
